Suwanee celebrates community

An annual celebration of community, the Suwanee Day festival offers several different forms of fun: food, arts and crafts, on-stage entertainment throughout the day, and inflatable rides and other activities for the kids. About 175 vendors will set up at Town Center Park Saturday, September 18, to celebrate the 2010 festival.
In addition to all of the traditional forms of fun, the 2010 Suwanee Day festival will welcome a very special guest and new member of the Suwanee family: The City’s mascot will be unveiled!
Suwanee Day kicks off at 10 a.m. with a parade that this year celebrates hometown heroes. A featured concert and fireworks display conclude the celebration. The 10th annual Suwanee Day Classic, with both 5K and 10K routes, will be run on Saturday, September 11.
