The Suwanee of tomorrow will, in large part, be a reflection of the planning philosophies, guidelines, policies, and regulations that the City implements today. The planning division of the City's Planning and Community Development Department, with direction from City Council, is responsible for guiding Suwanee's future development and helping ensure quality growth.
Other members of the Planning & Community Development Department are responsible for economic and community development, event coordination, website management, and media relations, as well as the City's newsletter and other community communication efforts.
