Standardized test scores for Suwanee area schools, as well as those throughout Gwinnett County, are available on the Gwinnett County Public Schools website.
Gwinnett County Board of Education
The Gwinnett County Board of Education is composed of five citizens elected by voters in five geographic areas of the county to govern the public school system. Those schools serving Suwanee residents are located within District II (the North Gwinnett cluster) and are represented by Dan Seckinger, who joined the board in January 1995. He is owner/president of Bartimaeus, Inc., a building specialties commercial contractor.
Board meetings generally are held at 7 p.m. on the third Thursday of each month. Meetings take place in the Board Room at the Instructional Support Center, located at 437 Old Peachtree Road in Suwanee. Citizens wishing to address the board should inform the superintendent's office in writing by noon on the Monday preceding a meeting. A public forum for individuals not on the agenda is held at 6:30 p.m.
