Once upon a time, 42 years ago, a magical tradition began in the heart of Suwanee. You’re invited to be part of that magic’s next chapter at Once Upon a Suwanee Fest as our annual fall festival returns to Town Center Park on September 19 & 20. 

The adventure begins Saturday, September 19, at 9:00 a.m. as the Suwanee Fest Parade brings bigger-than-life storybook characters, enchanted creatures, and whimsical surprises to the streets of Suwanee, setting the stage for a weekend filled with fun and imagination. 

Throughout the weekend, festival-goers can explore more than 100 vendors and exhibitors, enjoy delicious food, experience live entertainment, visit the Happily Ever After Family Fun Zone, and take on rides and inflatables that promise fun for all ages. Whether you’re shopping, playing, or simply soaking in the atmosphere, there is a story waiting around every corner. 

Returning festival favorites make their way back to Suwanee Fest this year, including the:

Touchdown Tent, where football fans can catch the day’s biggest games. 

Pet Shade Tent, offering a cool place for our four-legged friends to relax and cool off. 

Youth on the Rise, showcasing aspiring local entrepreneurs and organizations! Participating Vendors: Candles by the Sea & Me, CheeTech, Jaxon 3D, KraftzbyKadin, Parth’s Prints & Co, The Mosley Six Kid Entrepreneur, Bright Horizons, Fabric Creations, Finance the Movement, Heavenly Home, Magpie’s Nest, The Compass Within, Trezbytiny, Boyz to Kingz, Naya Soaps

This year’s festival also introduces a few new experiences! Visit the Storybook Tent throughout the weekend for live readings of children’s stories, then step into the pages of your favorite fairytale during the Storybook Stroll on Sunday. Guests of all ages are encouraged to dress as their favorite storybook characters and join this Sunday feature on a stroll around the park. 

As we celebrate together, we are also inviting our community to help write a story of generosity! Festival guests can bring donations of non-perishable food, hygiene products, and new or gently used books to help support local organizations and neighbors in need.
