The City of Suwanee and the City of Sugar Hill are excited to announce the return of the Suwanee & Sugar Hill Food Fight, a spirited competition for a great cause! Kicking off on September 21st at Suwanee Fest and concluding on October 20th at Sugar Rush, the two cities will go head-to-head to see who can collect the heaviest haul of donations for the North Gwinnett Cooperative.

Last year, Sugar Hill claimed the victory, but this year, Suwanee is ready for a comeback! The city with the most donations by weight will be crowned the winner, but the real victory is in supporting our community and helping those in need.

The North Gwinnett Co-Op plays a vital role in our community, having distributed over 70,000 pounds of food in July alone to support 3,946 people across 944 families, including adults, children, and senior citizens. This impressive effort highlights the ongoing need in our community and the impact that our collective donations can have.

Residents are encouraged to donate essential items such as hygiene products, toilet paper, paper towels, laundry detergent, cereal, and canned beans. The North Gwinnett Co-Op will also be accepting monetary donations on their website starting September 21st, with each dollar counting as a pound toward the total. Be sure to select "City of Suwanee" when making your donation to ensure it counts towards our total!
