City of Suwanee and City of Duluth Face Off in “Battle of the Cities” Blood Drive Challenge

On May 1, 2025, the cities of Suwanee and Duluth will go head-to-head in a friendly competition with life-changing impact. The “Battle of the Cities” Blood Drive, hosted in partnership with the American Red Cross, invites both communities to step up and donate blood in a spirited challenge to see which city can collect the most donations in one day.

Residents, city employees, and local supporters are encouraged to represent their city and help save lives at the same time. The city with the most participation will earn bragging rights, but the real winners are the patients whose lives will be saved thanks to these generous contributions.

All participating donors will receive complimentary city swag and a $20 e-gift card from the American Red Cross as a token of appreciation for their lifesaving contributions.

Appointments are highly encouraged, though walk-ins will be accepted as availability allows. Donors must bring a valid photo ID.
