Suwanee’s most dino-mite tradition is back for its 41st year! Suwanee Fest, presented by Climate Heroes, returns to Town Center Park on Saturday, September 20 (9 am–7 pm) and Sunday, September 21 (12 pm–5 pm) for a weekend of award-winning fun, food, entertainment, and community spirit.
Named one of the Southeast’s best festivals, Suwanee Fest draws thousands each year—and 2025 is shaping up to be a prehistoric party like no other.
PARADE
The weekend kicks off with the crowd-favorite Suwanee Fest Parade on Saturday at 9 a.m., stomping through Main Street, Suwanee Dam Road, and Buford Highway. This year’s Grand Marshal is Dr. Mary Kay Murphy, a lifelong public education advocate and trailblazer.
VENDORS
Browse more than 200 vendor booths featuring handmade arts and crafts, local businesses, nonprofits, and interactive exhibits, perfect for finding one-of-a-kind treasures while supporting small businesses.
ENTERTAINMENT
Enjoy live music and performances all weekend long on the Town Center stage, with a lineup of local bands, dancers, and Jurassic-themed acts for all ages. The full schedule will be posted at SuwaneeFest.com.
FAMILY FUN ZONE
The Family Fun Zone is a prehistoric destination filled with fossil digs, crafts, STEM activities, and hands-on adventures—free for families and sponsored by Gwinnett Church. Explore more with Fernbank on the Go! featuring a wide variety of science-themed, exploratory activities, including archeological investigations and chemistry experiments.
RIDES & GAMES
Beyond the free zone, kids of all ages can enjoy inflatables, small rides, and carnival-style games. Tickets will be available for purchase during the festival.
FOOD VENDORS
Come hungry! Suwanee Fest features a mouthwatering variety of food vendors serving up everything from festival favorites like funnel cakes and kettle corn to international cuisine, barbecue, shaved ice, and more. Whether you're craving sweet, savory, or spicy, there’s something for every raptor-sized appetite.
PHOTO OPS & MORE
Snap pics with larger-than-life dinosaurs or themed backdrops, and enjoy interactive characters and surprise pop-ups roaming the park throughout the weekend.
NEW IN 2025
This year’s festival introduces two exciting additions. Youth on the Rise is a new tent highlighting young entrepreneurs, artists, and creators under the age of 18, offering attendees a chance to support the next generation of talent. Paleo Prospectors invites kids to experience the thrill of fossil hunting, with hands-on opportunities to uncover prehistoric treasures.
RETURNING FAVORITES
Fan-favorite features are also making a comeback in 2025. The Sensory Tent provides a calm, welcoming space for guests who benefit from a sensory-friendly experience. Football fans can catch the games all weekend in the shaded Touchdown Tent, while furry friends can rest and hydrate in the Pet Shade area designed just for them.
PARKING & SHUTTLES
Parking is unavailable at Town Center during Suwanee Fest, and traffic in the area can be congested. For a hassle-free experience, attendees are encouraged to use the free off-site shuttle lots. Three convenient locations offer complimentary, air-conditioned shuttles to and from the festival:
Brontosaurus Blue at Shadowbrook Church (4187 Suwanee Dam Road) includes wheelchair-accessible shuttles.
Raptor Red at Shawnee North Business Center (305 Shawnee North Drive at Lawrenceville-Suwanee Road).
T-Rex Tan at Gwinnett Church (300 Peachtree Industrial Boulevard).
Shuttles will run from 8:00 am to 8:00 pm on Saturday, and 11:30 am to 7:00 pm on Sunday. Please note that bus service will be very limited during the parade, from 8:45 am until approximately 10:30 am on Saturday. Dogs are welcome on all shuttles.
With something for every member of the herd, Suwanee Fest 2025 is set to be a roar-some good time. Admission is free. For full schedules, maps, parking info, and more, visit SuwaneeFest.com.
