City Facilities Closed to the Public
City Hall, Police Station, Police Training Center, Court, and Public Works buildings are temporarily closed to the general public until further notice. Governor Brian Kemp's April 3, 2020 Shelter in Place Order (and April 8, 2020 extension of the Order until April 30, 2020) preempts all local emergency orders related to COVID-19.
It makes the State of Georgia responsible for all aspects of implementation. The State Order also supersedes and suspends all previous county or city Orders. As such, the City of Suwanee is not authorized to enforce neither our previous Orders nor provide you with interpretation or guidance on the Governor’s Order.
