Plots are assigned on a first-come, first-served basis with priority given to Suwanee residents.

Plots are available in three different sizes. Annual fees include the use of a raised bed, utilities, basic community tools, social and educational events, and, when available, compost.  Gardeners will incur personal expenses for seeds, plants, amendments, stakes, trellises, etc.

Annual Plot Fees

• Small (approx. 5’x 5′) - $52 (City resident) | $65 (Non-resident)
• Medium (approx. 5’x 9′) - $71 (City resident) | $90 (Non-resident)
• Large (approx. 5’x 12′) - $90 (City resident) | $115 (Non-resident)

The success of Harvest Farm depends upon the support of its gardeners. Volunteers maintain our garden, which helps to keep operating costs low, as well as foster a sense of community.

Each must complete 12 hours of annual service to the garden.

There are multiple opportunities to fulfill these hours, including:

• Regular garden work days | Work days are typically Saturdays from 8-10 am during the growing season. Projects vary depending on the current needs of the garden.
• Managing the community compost | Including reducing items over 3″ and disposing of non-composting items
• Tool closet maintenance | Organization, proper storage, and tool cleaning
• Information center | Clean chalkboards; remove outdated notices from
• Pest Control | Exterminate ants and other pests in the common areas (using DE from the tool closet
• Common area weeding
