A Presence Beyond Normal Business Hours
Visitors and locals alike are welcomed to the City of Suwanee not by a boring desk with pamphlets and maps, but with a high-energy, beautiful, art-filled space in Suwanee Town Center.
Located at 3930 Charleston Market Street in Town Center (look for the bright blue awning!), the Suwanee Welcome Center features not only city information, but awesome Suwanee swag for purchase as well.
The 2,297 square-foot facility also features art classes, workshops, and an art gallery.
The City and North Gwinnett Arts Association (NGAA) have entered into a partnership that allows the NGAA to showcase local artists and offer art classes to all ages, while also creating and staffing the welcome center. The joint welcome and arts center allows the city to have a presence that extends beyond the normal business hours.
The NGAA is a non-profit art organization dedicated to promoting the appreciation of local art through exhibition, festivals and other media. Based in Suwanee, the NGAA maintains an open membership policy where artists of all types are welcome to be a part of the organization.
